Morten Charles MD PhD
Charles is a senior researcher at the Institute of Public Health at Aarhus University, and General Practitioner. He finished his PhD in 2012. In 2014 he received a 4-year postdoc grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. He conducted the 5-year follow-up examinations in the ADDITION Denmark Study, and will be responsible for the 11-year follow-up examination of the same patients. The 11-year follow-up examinations of the ADDITION Denmark Study will provide instant access to identify risk factors, e.g. demographic, lifestyle, metabolic, and clinical factors, comorbidity, drug use, and biomarkers, for developing diabetic neuropathy.
